Men's ties from different materials

Men's ties from different materials

The tie is an accessory of a real stylish or business man. By the presence of a tie in the image can be folded the first impression of a man. But, on the other hand, this element is able to spoil the entire ensemble and say that it’s far from being in the best light to set its owner. This is due to improper selection of a men's tie, grubby knot or, very importantly, due to the wrong material for a tie.

The manner of wearing a tie came from France. Although the word "tie" of German origin is translated as "a scarf around the neck." But the first who presented the decoration to the public was Ludwik XIV. Of course, at that time the tie did not look the same as today, but it was then that this element of the wardrobe received recognition.

Materials

  • Twilight This material, with the right choice of color, is able to perfectly present the model of a tie for every day. As is known, a twill has a rather coarse weaving structure, therefore the tie perfectly lies and simplifies the image. Such an accessory can complement a business suit, but only on condition that the tie will be a classic shade.
  • Grenadine. Grenadine material has a dense structure. Such fabric can be of two types: with wide weaving and with dense weaving. The advantage of a tie made from this material is that it is easy to complete it with various suits. But, with all this, this tie does not go beyond the business classic style.
  • Satin fabric. Satin tie is perfect for evening activities. The shiny, flowing surface of a satin tie will be perfectly combined with a classic black suit. You should not combine such a tie with colored shirts, this tandem will not impress anyone, but only tell about the bad taste of its owner.
  • Silk. Everyone knows about the merits of silk fabric. This beautiful natural material is endowed with a surface that perfectly distinguishes the weaving of threads. Silk perfectly gives in to dyeing, it is possible to purchase one-color models, or ties with various patterns. Silk tie does not belong to official accessories, it can be used in almost any costume.
  • Knitted. Knitted tie is very stylish and incredibly popular. This model has been known since the 70s of the twentieth century. Today, because of the relevance of the casual style, the knitted tie is combined with many of the wardrobe items of this style.
  • Jacquard. Jacquard is a dense material with the presence of shiny threads and a variety of patterns. Elegant men prefer models from this material. And it is not surprising, because the jacquard tie looks very rich, with its presence the whole look will look advantageous.
  • From flax. Linen fabric itself is associated with hot summer days. Linen tie is designed for a warm period. Due to its uneven surface, a linen tie serves as an excellent complement to suits of light shades.
  • Woolen. If the previous version represents the summer period, the wool tie, on the contrary, is intended for winter or cold autumn. Because of the density of the material, the tie knot does not always work out perfectly, but this is allowed. A woolen tie will be a great addition to a cardigan, a tweed jacket or a denim shirt.
  • Out of felt. This model is preferred only by brave men. Felt fabric is very poorly deformed, so this tie can have a very sloppy knot. If, nevertheless, there is a desire to dilute the image with an accessory made of felt, it is better to replace the usual tie with a bow tie.
