Czech costume national

There is no uniformity in the national clothes of the Czech Republic. In distant regions there are different traditions. It depends on the history of each individual region. Today, the Czech national costume can be seen only in folk ensembles and folklore musical groups.

A bit of history

The traditional costume of the Czech Republic quickly went into the background. Localities actively interacted with the city, where European trends were quickly introduced. Therefore, he is remembered and worn mostly in remote villages.

Men were made to wear black or white wool stockings. Boots and boots served as shoes. Heads warmed hats with fur or hats.

For women

The costumes of women from the eastern regions of the country differed. They wore shirts made of coarse canvas with straps and without sleeves. Another short shirt was put on top. She was decorated with embroidery and also had gathered sleeves.
Women had to wear aprons. On the belt they were going to assembly. The front apron was white, the back could be black and consist of another fabric. A festive dress served as a wool or silk bodice.

Modern models
